Lucky No. 7 has been set up as an online training diary/awareness raising/fundraising/friends update/encouragement giver type thing as I try to run seven full marathons in year.
The idea is fairly simple to celebrate my seventh year of being in remission from Hodgkin’s Lymphoma by combining my love of running and hopefully raising some much need funds for the fantastic charity that is the Lymphoma Association.
As I train in readiness and then trawl around the UK doing the actual marathons I’ll be keeping the blog updated with how everything is getting on, but also creating a separate section on some random memories of what life was like with Lymphoma (admittedly this section could be pretty wanky, and I’m certainly no medical expert, but hopefully someone that’s going through a similar thing might find it useful).
OK, best stop writing this now, I’ve got to go and pound some pavement.
thanks for visiting and thanks even more for supporting
Mark
